Our Shows

We host competitive agility events at numerous times throughout the year, where handlers and their dogs put their skills and training to the test. Competitors are able to sign-up and register for these events via the Dog Agility New Zealand website. Club Members– ask your Instructors if you are unsure of how to register, or where to start!

We host two types of events, Ribbon Trials, and Champ Shows. Information on both is below.

Most importantly, remember spectators are always welcome, and we’re always on the hunt for volunteer helpers on show days! Don’t be shy! All of our events are held on-site at Mairehau High School in Christchurch.

Ribbon Trials

Ribbon trials are open to all people and include courses designed for skill levels ranging from beginning handlers & dogs (Elementary class) to experts (Senior class). Ribbons are given to the top dogs in each class. Clear-round certificates are also issued to all those who complete a course without errors and within the designated course time.
