Dog of the year is an interclub competition for anyone that competes at ribbon trial and/or championship show level.
Top Dog 2016 awards
- Handler must be a financial or life time member of the club
- Handler must primarily train at CCATS club (your dog cannot work towards top dog awards at two clubs)
- Top Dog Awards are calculated using the Dog Agility New Zealand website for champ show results, and ribbon trial results submitted by handlers.\
- Points are awarded for places from 1st-5th, and for clear rounds.
Awards are as follows:
Top dog award, Top of height category award, Top newcomer, Top male handler, Top female handler, Top veteran dog
